Unshielded multiconductor 18 AWG cables are used in a wide variety of applications. Oftentimes, they can be found in things like consumer electronics and industrial control equipment. Unshielded multiconductor 18 AWG cables are constructed from finely stranded tinned copper conductors. The conductors are insulated with color-coded PVC. The now insulated conductors are covered with a durable yet flexible PVC jacket. This keeps the conductors together while offering superior protection. These cables are manufactured to meet the requirements for UL, CSA, RoHS, and NEC. Temperatures and voltages are not always the same from cable to cable.
