Busbars
Busbars give you a clean, common connection point for multiple positive or negative conductors instead of stacking many ring terminals on a battery post. They make systems easier to wire, trace and expand.
Pick a busbar rated for the total current it will carry and with enough studs and screw terminals for your circuits. Insulating covers help prevent accidental shorts.

Busbars FAQ
Why use a busbar instead of the battery terminal?
Stacking many lugs on a battery post leads to poor connections. A busbar spreads connections out, keeps them tight and makes troubleshooting simpler.
How do I size a busbar?
Choose a continuous rating at least equal to the total current flowing through it, and check stud sizes match your cable lugs.
Do I need separate positive and negative busbars?
Yes. Many systems use a fused positive distribution block and a separate negative busbar, often with a battery monitor shunt between the negative bus and the battery.
Should busbars be covered?
Covers are recommended, especially on positive busbars, to prevent tools or loose items from causing a short.
